Hey 2023 Seniors, Did you know that you can now begin your FAFSA Application online? The 2023-2024 FAFSA Application is now available, and you can complete it on the website: StudentAid.Gov.  Your Fall Break could be a great time to complete this Graduation Requirement. Don't hesitate to get started! 
Thanks to those who shared their College and Career Plans by dressing up today. We enjoy seeing your plans for your future. Tomorrow's spirit day is Throwback Thursday. Whether you are feeling groovy, grunge-y or glowy....dress for your favorite decade.

The Homecoming Committee would like to thank those who are providing the games at lunch. If you haven't joined in the fun, be sure to look for those on the boardwalk during lunch shifts. 

Those performing in the Homecoming assembly should be sure to check the rehearsal schedule for this evening. Thank you to those who worked so hard in practice last night. We appreciate you sharing your talents.

Teachers, remember that the Homecoming Assembly performances for students are tomorrow and Friday. Be sure to check your emails for specific details.

Would you like to help out our community & donate blood? Our school is having a blood drive on Thursday, October 20th. To donate blood, you must be 16yrs old or older. If you donate, you will receive the LifeShare t-shirt.! Students & faculty can stop by Mrs. Nix’s classroom (Room 3105) to get more information & to sign up. You must preregister to donate.

Just a reminder for the ELLS kids. We are meeting in the auditorium during 2nd hour today.

Amateur Radio members, be sure to regularly check Google Classroom for important announcements, including information about club t-shirts and tailgating this Friday.

October is College Application Month. Seniors, when you apply to a college, show your senior English teacher your completed application or email confirmation so your name can be placed in a drawing for prizes. We will begin drawing the week of October 17th. 

Each Wednesday for the month of October, the counseling department encourages all faculty and students to wear their college gear. Let's put our favorite colleges on display! 

AP Club members - make sure you are registered in the AP Club google classroom. If you missed the meeting, please see Mrs Etzel in room 4203 THIS WEEK for the classroom code. We have several exciting projects when we get back from fall break and we need you!!!

We will have our Browse the Boardwalk on October 26th and 27th, during both lunch shifts on the Rebel Boardwalk. College recruiters from all over Louisiana and surrounding states as well as LOSFA will be here to visit with you! 

FCS will meet tomorrow morning in the new gym.

Bingo, Bingo, Bingo. Book Bingo, that is. The library is sponsoring a reading challenge.  Come by the library for more information on how to enter a drawing for a chance to win a $20 gift card.
